Guy Ritchie's latest film is the action-packed and royally epic, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. He managed to rope his mate David Beckham in!
Guy Ritchie is famous British director whose world-wide fame started with movies Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.
He continued his successful career working in Hollywood, making films such as RocknRolla and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. His pet project Sherlock Holmes franchise helped him get through a ruff, dry season. Ritchie is currently directing the third installment in the series. He is also working on Disney's new live-action movie Aladdin. Release date for this one is yet to be revealed.
Guy's latest movie just premiered in UK, and the world premiere is set for 12th of May. The movie is, of course, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
It is an old and well known tale about early medieval times in British Isles, and the mythical King Arthur, his Knights of the Round Table, wizard Merlin and magical sword Excalibur.
Ritchie and some actors from the movie said that movie is trying to be something new, that it will be a reimagining of the old myth, so that audience can get movie with plot that is more or less known, but told in a different and unseen way.
By the looks of the trailer, it seems like that it will be action-packed, with long and well choreographed fighting scenes. And, if David Beckham as a side-character in the movie doesn't make it watchable nothing will.
