TLC are back! T-Boz and Chilli on girl power and a new album

Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas take time out from rehearsals for a London gig to chat about their comeback album.

Old school R&B goddesses are back!

TLC is finally releasing the new album, after 15 years of hiding from us!

TLC was formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1991, and original line-up consisted of Tionne T-Boz Watkins, Lisa Left Eye Lopes and Rozonda Chilli Thomas.

Currently, group is formed of T-Boz and Chilli, as Lisa Lopes got killed in a car accident, in 2002.

Lisa left us with TLC hits, and her three solo studio albums: Supernova (2001), and posthumously released N.I.N.A. (2002) and Eye Legacy (2009).

And she left us with a whole lot of grief, too!

So much that, in fact, it took the rest of the girls 15 years to release new TLC album called simply TLC.

Album was released on 30th of June and it was a crowdfunded project. T-Boz and Chilli turned to the Kickstarter website in search of donations for their new album.

It was back in 2015, and two years later they managed to finish it all!

Among some of the celebrities who have donated for TLC are Katy Perry, New Kids on the Block, Soulja Boy, Bette Midler and Justin Timberlake.

The girls managed to raise 400 000 dollars, and immediately started to work on the future release.

They have released two singles prior to the release of the album: Way Back and Haters.

So, check out what they have to say about all Kickstarter experience!
