The actress expressed her disdain for the director over allegations that he may have been involved in sexual assault.
The movie industry is all about drama and lawsuits. Now we have another sexual assault allegation, and in the middle of it is the famous Woody Allen.
Allen’s movie was released at Cannes, but the thing that got more attention than the movie is the latest allegation by Dylan Farrow that Allen assaulted her as a child.
During the Kering Women in Motion Talk, Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis talked about a woman in film in honor of the 25th anniversary of the famous Thelma and Louise. And this talk led to a conversation about- Woody’s new movie Café Society, when Susan said, “I have nothing good to say about Woody Allen, so I don’t think we should go there. I think he sexually assaulted a child and I don’t think that’s right … It’s gotten very quiet in here, but that’s true.”
Sarandon is one of the few people in Hollywood who have openly said that they believe Dylan Farrow rather than some form of “It’s none of my business,” se she decided not to be quiet about it.
